ages.

Classroom Management
Some practical tips for getting and holding students' attention in
class, from the article Silence! (Please) written by the Macmillan
Heinemann Teacher Training team in Spain, with contributions from two of

Classroom Language
This article is adapted from the first chapter of Classroom Language by Sagrario Salaberri. She outlines some of the theories which support the
use of English as the main language in the classroom from primary education onwards. Very useful introductory reading for those teachers who do not feel confident enough to use English as the main language of communication with their classes or those teachers who do use English as the language of the classroom but who want to improve their technique or get new ideas. The article is available in English or Castilian.
